The Buckmaster was originally designed for our Navy SEALS circa 1983-84. A SEAL team in the picture shows one worn on the hip. Extensive reading is available at the links provided below. In a nutshell for collectors, this is one of the original pre-patent models of only which 2600 were produced. Furthermore, it is in mint condition as shown with it's original unused contents and box just as it sold back in the day.
